Branch Secretary Paul Trehearne has already replied to Mr Hunt's letter - 'Further to W Hunt's comments 18th October I would like to stress that we are not presenting ourselves as charity case but as a group of loyal and dedicated employees attempting to galvanise public support via the local media. There is a lot of political activity going on behind the scenes. If W Hunt wishes to contact us to offer his/her assistance we will be glad to share his/her knowledge. As of today (18th October) no employee at Gloucestershire's Mail Centre or their Union representatives have had access to the feasibility study. Once this information has been shared with us our campaign will be put into action. As we have stated in previous articles in the newspapers, we will NOT rule out the use of Industrial Action at the appropriate time. This decision will not be taken lightly and only when it is absolutely necessary.' |
